Born 1961 in Melbourne, moved to Perth in 1990. Perth is a long way from anywhere else, but of course it’s got its bad points too.
In 2007 I began experimenting with Tierazon and Mind Boggling Fractals. The original plan was to create mandalas - that didn't get far: the wider possibilities soon carried me away.
I don't think of myself as an artist in the usual sense; what I'm doing, I feel, is more akin to photography. Instead of taking my camera out into the street, I take my imagination into the program. Just like photography, most of the results are forgettable. Every now and then, however, I happen across something that flicks a switch.
For fractal art especially a strong title is important. Some are my own work, but I borrow from books and songs as well.
I support Gina Elise and her Pin Ups For Vets Calendar. I have a blog at Wordpress: The mInd is an unexplored country.
